Gardeners Take Note
The 2006 INPC (Inland Northwest Philosophy Conference) will be on the theme of "Action and Moral Responsibility." Committed speakers include Randy Clarke, John Fischer, Al Mele, Michael Moore, Derk Perboom, Paul Russell, Peter van Inwagen, David Widerker. The call for papers will likely not come out until August, but certainly keep your eyes open for it.

The INPC is always a wonderful event, and I look forward to seeing many of you up in the Northwest in a year!

I also wanted to note that INPC 2006 (March 31-April 2) will include a special author-meets-critics session on John Martin Fischer's new book, My Way: Essays on Moral Responsibility, forthcoming from Oxford University Press. That session will include Fischer, Derk Pereboom, and Paul Russell. We'll likely invite at least one more person to be on the panel, as well.
Look for postings this summer and in early fall providing more information and requesting volunteers for commenting on papers and chairing sessions.
If anyone has suggestions of persons to invite in the areas of ethics and philosophy of law (especially law and causation stuff), please contact me.
I look forward to seeing many of you next year!

Co-Director, INPC

I just wanted to note that Saul Smilansky has graciously accepted an invitation to present a paper at INPC 2006!
